Orders placed on the restaurant’s own website now print in the kitchen automatically and return a confirmation to the customer, with no one re-keying anything in between.
Mughlai Magic has put a direct integration between its website and its restaurant point-of-sale system into production. An order placed online now prints as a kitchen ticket automatically, is accepted in the POS, and sends the customer a confirmation and a bill without a staff member re-entering it.
The change removes the manual step that sat between a web order and the kitchen, which was both the slowest part of the process and the one where mistakes happened. Customers now also choose a pickup time slot at checkout rather than agreeing one over the phone.
The wider point is a deliberate one for the group: Mughlai Magic takes orders through its own channel rather than depending entirely on aggregator platforms. That is worth doing only if the direct channel works as smoothly as the aggregators do, which is what this integration was built to achieve.
